Heeresfeldbahnen (HfB) No.1091 was supplied in 1918
for use by the German Army during the First World War. She was
built by Henschel & Sohn, Kassel,
to the standard Brigadelok design, and has builders'
number 15968. She has radial axles of the Klein-Lindner design
to permit the eight-coupled wheelbase to negotiate the tight curves
of the military railways. Many of these locos saw further service
after the war throughout Europe, Africa and South America. No.1091
worked in Poland until the 1980s. She is owned by the Toddington
Narrow Gauge Trust in Gloucestershire.
