Aurelia
Huascaran - Beaverbrae - Aurelia - Romanza
 
 
1939: Delivered as Hapag's Huascaran by Blohm & Voss, Hamburg. After one trip, taken over by the German Navy and used as a repair ship during WW2.
1945: Handed over to Canadian Government, and sold to Canadian Pacific in 1947. Refitted and renamed Beaverbrae. Used as an emigrant carrier St.John-Bremerhaven/Bremen.
1954: Sold to Cogedar Line and renamed Aurelia. Ran various services Europe-Australia/New Zealand.
1970: Sold to Chandris Lines and renamed Romanza. Ran Mediterranean cruises, plus charters elsewhere until 1991, when sold to Cypriot interests. Later burnt out.

Beaverbrae
 
The Huascaran was handed over to Canadian Government at the end of WW2, and sold to Canadian Pacific in 1947. She was refitted and renamed Beaverbrae, and used as an emigrant carrier St.John-Bremerhaven/Bremen.
