Disney Magic & Disney
Wonder, are the first
two Disney-owned cruise ships, delivered 1998 and 1999 respectively.
They were built by Fincantieri in Italy, and are 294 metres long
(slightly longer than the QE2 - only the Norway
is longer amongst operating cruise ships). They are 85000 gross
tons, and carry 1750 passengers (lower berths only - 2400 maximum).
Five Sulzer diesels, 57663 kW total, drive them at 24 knots. The
crew numbers 915.
