Japan Cruise Line

This page is devoted to postcards and photographs of the Japan Cruise Line fleet, which consists of two similar ships, Orient Venus (1990, 21884 grt, 606 passengers) and Pacific Venus (1998, 26518 grt, 720 passengers). The line caters mainly for the Japanese domestic market, and operates many company charters run as incentive trips for employees. The ships feature large auditoriums and conference facilities. They are an attractive and unpretentious looking pair, albeit with rather plain interiors. Japan Cruise Line is owned by Shin Nipponkai Ferry (40%), Kyowa Shoji (25%), Hankyu Ferry (20%) and Kanko Kisen (15%).
