P&O and Princess Cruises Cards by Simplon - Page 1

P&O and Princess Cruises have always been of great interest to me, and I have issued nearly 50 cards of their fleets in my Simplon Postcards series, covering virtually all their cruise ships from the early 1960s. Most of my own cruising has been with P&O, and the Canberra and Oriana(2) are particular favourites, hence a number of cards have been issued of both of these ships.

This page shows P&O ocean liners later used as fulltime cruise ships, the Arcadia(2), Oriana(1) and Canberra. Page 2 continues the P&O/Princess fleet story with the early purpose-built cruise ships, the acquisition of Sitmar, and the succession of new Grand Class ships in the 1990s and beyond.
