I spent one day in Antwerp on Sunday 22nd March 2009. In addition to travelling on trams, I spent time exploring the old town and its churches, an abortive visit to the (closed) maritime museum, and I had a fantastic two hour lunch in the Michelin-starred Le Zoute Zoen (sweet kiss) restaurant at Zirkstraat 15-17. It is close to the Melkmarkt terminus of routes 10 and 11, and well off the tourist trail. Highly recommended.
My tram travel itinerary and tram routes was:-
1: Centraal Station>10>Deurne>10>Melkmarkt
2: Keiserstraat>7>Harmonie>2>Hoboken>4>Groenplats
3: Keiserstraat>4>Aalmoezenier>8>Bolivarplaats>12>Nationale Bank>8>Eksterlaar>11>Sint Katelijen>10>Centraal Station
Only route 2 was operated by the new articulated trams, and I did not use any of the pre-metro subway sections, since I wanted to concentrate on PCC routes wherever possible. Service frequencies were presumably much reduced due to the Sunday service.

Route 5 - Wim Saerensplein-Linkeroever

Route 6 - Olympiade-Luchtbal
Route 6 was a new route introduced in 2007. Starting in the north at Luchtbal, it used new tracks to Gasthuishoeveststraat where it joined route 3 to the city centre. South of the city centre it followed route 2 as a short route to Olympiade.
