shows company and commercial postcards of the ex-Transvaal
Castle in Dolphin, Thomson and Premier service as the Island
Breeze (later Big Red Boat III). Page 1 showed her earlier history
on the Southampton-South Africa mail run as Transvaal Castle
and S.A.Vaal. Page 2 showed her Carnival history as Festivale.

- On 4th June
2003 Big Red Boat III (sailing as Big Boat) steamed
from Freeport enroute to the shipbreakers at Alang, India, via
Gibraltar. She had the sad distinction of being the first Carnival
Cruise liner to be scrapped. I have no postcards as Big Red
