Diana
II. She was built
in 1979 for Rederi AB Slite, part of the Viking Line consortium.
Diana II was sold to a finance company in 1989,
and in 1992 she was chartered to TT-Line for their Trelleborg-Rostock
service (marketed as TR-Line). In 1994 she was sold again to
a Cypriot company controlled by Nordström & Thulin and
chartered to Estlines Vironia and then Mare Balticum. In 1996 she was chartered to Tallink
and renamed Meloodia.
