This page shows images of the triple-decked ZSG (Zürichsee Schifffahrtsgesellschaft) motor vessel Linth of 1952, using historic postcards and recent images.

Linth was built in 1952 by Bodanwerft, Kressbronn, and is the oldest large motor vessel in service on Zürichsee. She is an extremely impressive three-decked vessel similar to vessels delivered by the same yard for the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) fleet on Bodensee (Lake Constance), of which many have now been scrapped. Linth has been beautifully maintained and is a pleasure to sail on. She carries 1000 passengers, is 54m long and is powered by twin MAN diesels each of 365Kw (485hp). She has an impressive beam of 11.6m, almost the same as the paddlers, allowing a spacious promenade deck around the outside of the main saloons.
