SeaWind Line operate a low cost/no frills service between Stockholm-Åbo, later Stockholm-Långnäs-Åbo, and also Helsinki-Tallinn. Mainstay of the fleet has been the Sea Wind, backed up with additional charter tonnage.

Sea Wind (1989- )
 
Sea Wind was built as the Svealand in 1972 by Helsingörs Skipsværft Helsingör for the Trave Line service between Helsingborg-Travemünde. In 1976, the service passed to Saga Linjen. In 1981 Svealand transferred to TT-Saga Line for their Travemünde-Trelleborg route. Ownership at this time was Johnson Line. In 1983, ownership passed to Scandinavian Ferry Lines, and she was renamed Saga Wind that year. In 1989 she moved to the Stockholm-Åbo route of SeaWind Line, and was renamed Sea Wind.

Gotland (1997 charter)
 
Gotland was built in 1996 in Indonesia, for Rederi Ab Gotland. She operated charters for Tor Line, Nordic Trucker and SeaWind Line until sold to Oy Finnlines Ltd in 1997 and renamed Finnarrow. She then operated for them on Helsinki-Lübeck, Helsinki-Travemünde and Kapellskär-Nådendal. In 2003 she operated for Nordö-Link between Malmö-Travemünde.

Norse Lagan (1998 charter)
 
Norse Lagan was built as the Frederick Carter by Davies Ship Building Ltd, Lauzon, Canada. Frederick Carter had been ordered by the Govenment of Canada for East Coast ferry services and began operating between North Sydney-Port aux Basques in 1967. In 1979, registered owners became CN Marine. In 1986 Frederick Carter was sold to Cypriot owners and renamed Fred. She was sold again the following year, becoming the Flavia II of Harma Shipping, Limassol, entering service for Anco Ferries between Patras-Ancona. In 1988, Flavia II was chartered to Olympic Ferries for a service Patras-Taranto, but was sold to Windepoint Shipping the following year as the Thenia.
 
In 1990, following rebuilding in Poland, she entered service as Hansa Link for Nordö-Link between Malmö-Travemünde. The following year, Hansa Link was sold to a Dutch company and chartered to Norse Irish Ferries for their Liverpool-Belfast service as the Norse Lagan. Norse Lagan was bought by Norse Irish Ferries in 1996. She was laid up in November 1997, but had a charter with SeaWind Line during the summer of 1998, as shown in the postcard below. In 1998 Norse Lagan was sold to Moby Line, becoming their Moby Rider between Livorno-Olbia.

Star Wind (1999- )
 
158.35m long - 6111grt - 20.5 knots - 36 passengers - 49 goods wagons.
 
Star Wind was built as the Rostock by Bergens Mekaniske Verksted A/S, Bergen, for the East German State Railways, Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR). Rostock entered service in 1977 as a train ferry between Trelleborg-Sassnitz. In 1991, ownership passed to Deutschen Fährgesellschaft Ostsee (DFO). Rostock was laid up in September 1998 when replaced by newer tonnage. Later that year she was transferred to Scandlines Deutschland GmbH, followed soon afterwards by sale to seaWind Line, for Stockholm-Åbo service as Star Wind. From 2002 she also served Helsinki-Tallinn.

Sky Wind (2002- )
 
As built: 185.98m long - 16925grt - 15.5 knots - 12 passengers
As rebuilt: 188.88 m long - 22874grt 18 knots - 364 passengers
 
Sky Wind was built as the Öresund by Moss Rosenberg Vaerft, Moss, Norway, for the Swedish Railways (SJ) ferry arm, SweFerry. She entered service in 1986 on the DanLink service between Helsingborg-Copenhagen. Öresund was withdrawn in July 2000, when the Öresund rail link was opened. Öresund was sold to a Sea Containers subsidiary, SC RoPax, and renamed Sky Wind. Sky Wind was chartered to SeaWind Line, and rebuilt with additional passenger/freight accommodation. She entered service in October 2002 between Stockholm Långnäs-Åbo.
